Hyojin Han
Hyojin Han, PMHNP-BC

Hyojin Han is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who brings a rich and diverse background to her role at Pondworks. She is a recent graduate of the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program at The University of Texas at Austin, where she also received a Ph.D. in Ethnic and Third World Literature.
Before transitioning to health care, Hyojin’s professional experience included teaching literature and writing, as well as working as a community mediator in Los Angeles. As a mediator, she enjoyed helping her clients get to the roots of conflicts and establish productive dialogues. Her study of literature and oral histories led her to believe that some of the best stories are the real life experiences of people all around her, including her patients.
