Josh Ingleby

Josh Ingleby, PA-C

Josh Ingleby is a physician assistant originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. He studied behavioral science and health at the University of Utah, then completed his physician assistant degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Josh spent six years in family practice and three years in urology before coming to Pondworks.  Throughout his career, Josh has noted how often psychiatric symptoms tend to be underlying contributing factors to many medical complaints. Success in improving psychiatric health can often assist in the resolution of many physical ailments.

The thing he enjoys most about being a PA is the opportunity to listen to people and hear their stories. Every person is so unique and each has their story to tell. He believes in the tremendous power of choice. Every single day is a new day and a new opportunity to choose, learn, feel, and explore.

Austin Psychiatric Mental Health Physician Assistant

Josh served a 2 year religious mission in Mexico, where he provided service to the community and aided those he taught in making positive changes in their lives. He is fully fluent in Spanish.

He grew up enjoying the outdoors including hiking, biking, skiing, and backpacking. He finds solace in being in nature and experiencing the moments of awe that are so often found there. When he’s not at work, he enjoys music and spending time with his wife and two young daughters.

Josh joined Pondworks Psychiatry & Psychotherapy in February 2023.
